Ghanaians on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, are celebrating dedicated individuals working in the agricultural sector, recognising their efforts in ensuring an ample food supply for the nation.
In honour of the farmers and fishermen nationwide, the government declared Farmers' Day, Friday, December 1 as a national holiday.
The national celebration is on the theme, "Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience." The event is focused on celebrating farmers for their invaluable contribution to the development of the country.
As the nation gears up for this significant celebration, social media platform, X, is buzzing as Ghanaians commend farmers for their efforts and dedication in providing food for the nation.
