Stunning but seasonal, the spectacular site of the Boti waterfalls is situated at the north-eastern part of Koforidua in the Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region.
It is made up of two separate waterfalls – one flowing on the left with the other flowing on the right – and with a large rock dividing both waters.
Koforidua is the capital town of the Eastern Region and like all the regions in Ghana; residents of the Eastern Region are very accommodating and interesting to be with.
The region has a combination of great farmers and fishermen who rely heavily on the Volta Lake.
The cascading waterfalls, the Umbrella tree, the three-headed-Palm-Tree and outsized areas of lush tropical forests makes the Eastern Region a must see region for tourists and fun lovers.
The people of Manya Krobo are mainly Krobos with others as; Akuapim, Guans, Akyem, among others.
They are mostly Christians, Muslims and Traditionalists.
A colorful klama dance by the people of Manya Krobo indicates a fine line of uniqueness between the Krobos and the other tribes in the Eastern Region.
Needless to say, the people of the eastern region are beautiful and hardworking.
