Musician Kofi Mole says he gets overwhelmed by videos of women dancing and twerking to his latest single ‘Come Closer’.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, the rapper revealed that these videos on the internet started when he went live on Instagram on the day of the song’s release.
He explained that even though it was not part of his original plan to use dance videos to promote his new tune, it has turned out to be one of his strongest means of promotion now.
He added that the videos of ladies twerking relate to the song.
“It connects with the song, the bounce, the beat, and everything. It gives me joy.
“They do it organically. I went live on the day the song dropped. One girl came to twerk and that’s where it all started. I’m loving and they should keep it coming.”
It, however, seems Kofi Mole is not the only one enjoying these videos.
According to him, he has received a lot of calls from his male fans asking him to drop more twerk videos because they find it therapeutic.
“Ghanaians love it too especially my male followers. They keep asking me when I’ll go live on Instagram again. They even want me to post more videos because they claim it’s therapeutic,” he stated.
