Savings and Loans Company, Global Access is working to secure license to operate as a commercial bank within the next three years.
The company has been operating as a Remittance Company over the past eight years and as a savings and loans company for two years now.
Marketing and PR manager at Global Access, Gifty Amoah tells JOYBUSINESS the plan is to become a fully fledged financial institution to undertake bigger transactions.
“With the Savings and loans you are limited when it comes to foreign exchange issues and so we wouldn’t want to remain there. But we have a wide scope of market target involving SME’s as well as the big businesses which requires we take such steps” she noted.
Madam Amoah was speaking to JOYBUSINESS at a program to engage their clients on their expansion strategy and rewards some them at the end of a consumer reward promotion.
