GMC donates furniture to schools

The Ghana Manganese Company (GMC) has donated 300 pieces of metal tables, chairs and blackboards worth 50,000 dollars to some schools in its area of operation. The schools include Methodist Junior High and Dadwen School Complex, both at Nsuta; Bonsa Junior High and Wassa Akyempim D/C schools. Presenting the items, the Manager of GMC, Mr Jurgen Eijendaal said the items were to help boost education in the area. The Divisional Chief and President of Esuaso Divisional Council, Nana Kwesi Atobra, who received the items, expressed the Division’s gratitude to the Management of GMC. He said the provision of the items would help to raise the standard of education in the area, saying; “it will be used in the best interest of the children”. Source: GNA
