Black Stars debutant Razak Brimah says his maiden call up to the team did not come as a surprise.
The Spanish based goalkeeper is among three debutants, Yussif Raman Chibsah and striker Emmanuel Banahene handed a call up by Black stars Coach Kwasi Appiah for next Wednesday’s FIFA international day friendly against Turkey in Istanbul.
The 21-year-old, who plays for the Segunda side Guadalajara in an exclusive interview with Joy sports, noted that, he was not surprised when the call up came and is keen on fighting for place in the Black Stars team.
“It didn’t come as a surprise to me because I was expecting the call up, I have been working hard for so long and I believe the coach has realized it,”
“It is the dream of every Ghanaian player to earn a call up to the national team so for me I thank God for this opportunity.
“Ghanaians should expect that Razak Brimah is coming to help his country and I will do my best to stay in the team.”
Razak Brimah will join Fatau Dauda and Adam Kwaresey as the three goalkeepers invited by Coach Kwasi Appiah for the friendly against Turkey.
