Professional Football Association of Ghana general secretary, Anthony Baffoe, has thrown his weight behind under fire Olympics coach, Godwin Attram, to turn the corner for the club after a stuttering start to their league campaign.
Olympics have been out of sorts in the league and have failed to win a match on the pitch in 90 minutes.
Attram’s competence as a coach has been questioned with fans believing the former Black Stars player does not have what it takes in the elite division
But Baffoe believes Attram is still the right man to overturn the fortunes of the club.
“Godwin Attram obviously is doing well for the club, he qualified them from division one to the premier league, he was a player-coach and scored a lot of decisive goals, and was instrumental for the young players in the team,” Baffoe told Joy Sports..
“Now he is the head coach in the premier league and results are not forthcoming but I believe his struggles is just due to some details he needs to correct and I think when he gets that right everything will fall in the right place.”
“Sometimes when a team is going through such period, it’s the coach that worries more than anybody else. So, I believe Olympics should give him some time to keep on with the work he is doing. He has to work with people with people who he is comfortable with because generally it’s very important in football and any other business.”
