The government has denied rumours making rounds that it intends to defer the implementation of the Single Spine Salary Structure.
In a joint press release signed by the Ministers of Employment and Social Welfare and Finance, the government says it “ is committed to the implementation of the Roadmap and is supporting the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC) to ensure the smooth implementation of the SSSS.”
The statement explains that the extent of the implementation process makes it necessary to conduct the migration onto the SSSS gradually and assures the public about the government’s commitment to continue with the implementation process.
