President John Mahama has revealed that the government will begin clearing debts owed to road contractors within this month.
The President made this known during a meeting with the Council of State at the Presidency on Monday, July 7.

He explained it is expected to enable contractors to return to their various project sites and continue work on delayed infrastructure developments.


According to President Mahama, the Ministry of Finance has made dedicated financial allocations to address a substantial portion of the outstanding debts.
