Hearts lost their unbeaten away status after a heavy 3-0 defeat to WAFA in Sogakope. The result leaves the door ajar for teams competing for the league title. Read a preview of all seven games.
WAFA VS BECHEM UNITED
The slip up by the Phobians can be capitalized by Wa All Stars who host FA Cup finalists. Bechem United. The Wa side are itching for revenge after Manual Zacharias’ side handed them a controversial defeat in the first round. Wa All Stars are coming off the back of a late win against Medeama in midweek with Richard Arthur finding the net after 77 minutes.

KOTOKO VS DREAMS
Michael Osei has faced a torrid few weeks in the Kotoko hotseat with unfavorable results. So low has been Kotoko’s standard in the second that the club have has been actively looking for a technical director to assist Osei. A single win for the club in the second round has seen them drop to sixth on the league log.Up next is a plucky Dreams side who have no fear for reputation. Akonnour’s side have blown hot and cold this season, but on current form, they are good enough to take the points away from Kumasi.
ASHANTIGOLD VS NEW EDUBIASE
Bottom place New Edubiase return to familiar territory in Obuasi to play draw specialists and reigning champions Ashantigold. The first round game ended 2-1 in favour of the Miners who have not lost since losing to WAFA in the opening game of the second round. Ashantigold impressed in their last outing with a spirited display against Hearts of Oak in Accra.

HASAACAS VS ADUANA
Yusuf Basigi’s job as Hasmal coach is on the line, his chances of escaping relegation could be dented by Aduana. Aristica Cioaba’s side are still in the title hunt but their away form has left much to be desired, The motivation of moving within a point off the Phobians should ginger them to cause an upset in Sekondi in Essipong.
INTER ALLIES VS MEDEAMA
Medeama will hope to snap a three game losing streak against inter Allies after losing against Techiman City, Aduana Stars and Wa All Stars. They begin life without Daniel Amoah who was transferred to Tanzanian side Azam. Inter Allies however are on a survival mission and anything but victory could dent their chances. The Tema side have the full complement of their squad after all players returned from national duty

Other games will see Techiman City host Dwarfs with an eye of maintaining their unbeaten record at home while Liberty play as guests to Techiman City at the Golden City Park keen to overcome the heartbreak of their FA Cup exit.
