AshGold 0-0 Chelsea (Saturday)
The Len Clay Stadium gave this season's Ghana top flight its first goalless draw when AshGold hosted Berekum Chelsea. It will be a decent result from the Blues, who now have four points from three games. AshGold came into the game with some changes to the side that lost 3-1 in Algeria last Sunday in the Caf Champions League qualifier. Key among them was the benching of Ghana goalie Fatau Dauda. The game was characterised by very poor finishing by both teams but Chelsea will be happy with the exuberance of former Ghana starlet Sadick Adams. Also of note was the prowess of AshGold goalkeeper Ahmed Tijani. Next for Chelsea will be a home game against Kotoko. AshGold travel to Sekondi and face Hasaacas.
