Ghana’s title race is set for an intriguing photo finish as four teams are in the hunt for the title with 5 games remaining and two points separating the top four.
We assess the road for Kotoko who are currently fourth
Kotoko have three away games and two home games.

HASAACAS (AWAY)
Hasmal are battling relegation and are in dire need of points as games seem to be running out. Kotoko blow hot and cold and no one seems to know which Kotoko team will turn up. The first round tie was settled by a Kwame Boateng strike late on and this encounter will also be close to call.

CHELSEA (HOME)
It is no secret Chelsea are poor travelers and it will take something magical for them to clinch all three points in Kumasi. The Porcupine Warriors must and should take maximum points ahead of two tricky away fixtures. A slip up could all but end their title aspirations. Kotoko lost in Berekum in the first round.

MEDEAMA (AWAY)
Kotoko have not had the better of Medeama in their last two meetings but have an advantage of Medeama’s inconsistency in the league. The Tarkwa side have had the distraction of the CAF Confederations hence their patchy form in the league. Should Kotoko win the league, it will dwell heavily on this game as well as their next away game.

ASHANTIGOLD (AWAY)
…And the next away game is in Obuasi against the soon to be dethroned league Lords. There is no love lost between both sides and the Miners will certainly be hopeful of being the party spoilers. First round ended 0-0 in Kumasi and with Ashantigold the undoubted draw specialists, Kotoko must bring their A game to clinch victory.

WAFA (HOME)
The youngsters might be on holiday in Kumasi as they seem certain of their Premiership status for another year. Their away form has been poor and Kotoko must use experience and hunger to win the title as a boost to clinch the points at stake.
