Nathaniel Asamoah’s move to Aduana headlined the transfer deadline but they were two major big name signings as well on the day.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko re-signed former striker Seidu Bancey from Smouha FC on a year two deal. The striker returns to the club where he won goal king two season ago.
The striker is expected to join the Kotoko frontline who have been short of numbers this season. Dauda Mohammed has been the main man for the Porcupine Warriors but his partners all season long have been firing blanks.
Obed Owusu is yet to score in the league this season while Kwame Boateng’s career has been hampered with injuries. The former Olympics man has managed to score one goal all season.
Bennett Ofori has played up top in recent weeks but has failed to score since finding the opener in Kotoko’s second game of the season against Medeama.

Also, Dreams FC confirmed the signing of free agent, Theophilus Anobaah.
Anobaah joined on a free transfer after a short stint with Egyptian side Ismaily.
The Medeama winger is expected to inject fresh pace and thrust to the Dreams offensive set up and could make his debut against Hearts of Oak.
Anobaah joins with huge experience playing with the Black Stars B side that placed second in the 2014 CHAN tournament.
