Grammy’ award is set to honour late American rapper Nipsey Hussle with a tribute, a year after he was gunned down in front of his clothing store.
Per the report, the tribute to Nipsey Hussle was described as a "major segment" during the 62nd annual awards, which will be hosted by Alicia Keys.
Last year, Neighborhood Nip was nominated for Best Rap Album thanks to Victory Lap.
This year, the rapper has been posthumously nominated for three awards.
‘Racks In The Middle’ ft. Hit-Boy and Roddy Ricch is nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance while DJ Khaled's ‘Higher’ featuring Nipsey Hussle and John Legend was nominated for Rap/Sung Performance.
At the event which comes off Sunday, January 26 at 8 pm EST on CBS there will be performances by Tyler The Creator, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, H.E.R, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Billie Eilish and others.
