Ghana defender Harrison Afful says he is hoping to help Egyptian side Esperance defend the CAF Champions league title after signing a three-year contract extension with the African champions.
The left full back player renewed his stay earlier this week after the initial three-year contract signed in 2009 expired last Saturday.
The 26 year old scored the winning goal for Esperance in last season’s final of the CAF Champions league and hopes to emulate his successes of last season this term.
“I have been doing well for the past three years and I just hope to help the club win a second champions league title this year”.
“I’m grateful to Espérance for giving me another opportunity to stay here for three more years”.
