Hearts of Oak have moved their training grounds from the grassless Police Depot to the Legon Park following several criticisms of the playing surface at Tesano.
The Phobians have been training at the Police Depot since the commencement of their pre-season activities under their Japanese American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
Fans of the club heavily criticized the nature of pitch with potential injuries to players their major source of worry.
However club spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed the club has moved to allay their fears.
“We had discussions with the people at the Legon Park who told us the pitch was available,” Hearts spokesman Kwame Opare Addo confirmed.
“We had negotiations with them and everything is settled for us to train there now.”
Despite Yatsuhashi stating he was unfazed by the nature of the pitch at Tesano, the change in venue will come in handy for Yatsuhashi as the team steps up preparations for the upcoming league.
