The country Director of Herbalife Ghana Mr. Frederick Amissah has advised Ghanaians to take nutritional management serious as well as physical exercise, to enhance active life.
This he said will go a long way to reduce medical expenses and also enhance healthy living.
He therefore called for need to incorporate physical activity plan in daily routine, to ensure active living.
This could be in the form of walking to co-workers instead of phoning or sending e-mails at work places, plan active vacations rather than sit-down trips as well as joining a sport team or keep fit club.
Advised those who want to undertake any form of physical activity to consult a medical practitioner to guide on which regime of physical activity one needs to adopt
He was speaking Saturday, at Lizzy’s Sports Complex in Accra, when the company held its second annual national health walk dubbed "Herbalife Fitness Walk". Over 500 participants including the company's distributors and sales agents participated in the event.

The walk started from Lizzy's Sports Complex through Tetteh Quarshie Round-About and back to the Lizzie's Complex.
The participants were taken through basic techniques such as aerobics, press-ups and stretch. The event was also used to launch the Herbal Active in Ghana.
