Heroes dance crew emerged winners of the Season 5 of the Malta Guinness Street Dance at the National Theatre Friday.
After several hours of ecstatic display of sizzling dance moves among the final four dance crews, the heroes threw fans into fever pitch excitement.
They won a cash prize of GHS 15,000 as well as a chance to compete against the world’s best street dance crews this October in Bochum, Germany.
The crew could not hide their excitement when they spoke to journalists at the event, promising to lift the flag of Ghana high at the international stage.
One Spirit Dance crew placed second.
Commenting on the success of the event, the Marketing Director at Guinness Ghana Breweries Agnes Essah said, “We are thrilled for Heroes crew who definitely stunned us with their street dance moves at the National Final.
“This year’s National Final was one of our best yet and we are delighted with how the fifth season of Malta Guinness Street Dance has been concluded. We call on all Ghanaians to support Heroes as they represent Ghana in Germany in October,” she added.
This year, fans from the Facebook page www.facebook.com/MaltaGuinnessGhana were also able to vote for their favourite dance crew.
