Four-in-one is perhaps the best description or review that befits the La Fiesta Hacienda social garden located opposite the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) at East Legon in Accra.
The La Fiesta Hacienda is one of the growing hottest spots in Accra. At this social garden, patrons do not only eat, drink and shop; they can also dance to all genre of music and enjoy a game of pool if. There is also access to very a large space to party.
La Fiesta Hacienda is a Spanish phrase literally meaning “party house.” And truly, that is exactly what the garden stands for. It has everything to get patrons in a party mood.
Its primary mission is to offer the best hospitality services to meet both Ghanaian and foreign standards among other services.
Beautified with lawns, the Fiesta pleasure house has been in existence since 2003.
It was first established as Fiesta Mart to cater to the section of the Ghanaian community interested in American and American specification goods at the spacious vicinity of Bawaleshie, off Freedom Avenue in East Legon.
It however relocated to its present location opposite IPS 3 years ago, for purely commercial reasons.
Now bearing a new name, it has been extended into four departments. Thus it now includes the former Fiesta Mart, Hacienda Café, Club Mamacita and Rancho Primavera.
The Fiesta Mart is basically a shop that deals in mostly American products. Its inventory includes general American groceries, catering items, gifts, Christmas goods, Valentine gifts, packaging and take-away containers, flowers, balloons etc. Everything sold in this shop is shipped directly from America. The Hacienda Café, on other hand, is a restaurant.
Here, real American dishes including burgers and hot dogs are served as well local and other continental dishes. Inside the café is a bar which serves all kinds of drinks. Club Mamacita is also freely open for customers to have a feel of good music.
During the weekends, the club plays exciting jazz music when the Teddy’s Combo Band comes around.
The fourth section of the La Fiesta Hacienda is the Rancho Primavera, meaning party rental. This is space available for parties and weddings. Movie crews often use the facility, thus customers are likely to meet stars occasionally.
Security, management told BEATWAVES, is not a problem as all measures are put in place to ensure the safety of customers and their property.
