Thousands of people took to the streets for Life Walk 2025, an annual fitness and charity initiative organised by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC).
The event, held on [event date], was more than just a physical exercise—it was a powerful statement on the importance of holistic well-being and social impact.

Speaking on behalf of Pastor Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of ICGC, the church reaffirmed its commitment to promoting physical health, mental well-being, and community transformation.
The highlight of this year’s walk was the presentation of a GH¢300,000 donation to the Mental Health Authority to support mental health care in Ghana.
"Life Walk is more than a fitness exercise; it is a mission of love and generosity," the statement emphasised.

The donation represents ICGC’s ongoing commitment to breaking the stigma around mental health and expanding access to care.
Since 2019, the church has worked closely with the Mental Health Authority to raise awareness and provide tangible support for mental health facilities.

This year’s donation was presented by Rev. Anthony Cudjoe, assisted by Rev. Priscilla Naana Nketia and Rev. Selina Klu Abini, to the CEO of the Mental Health Authority, Dr Pinaman Appau.
In her remarks, Dr. Appau expressed profound gratitude to ICGC for its unwavering support in addressing mental health challenges in Ghana.
The event also served as a reminder of the importance of prioritising health.
Participants walked distances of up to 12 kilometres, underscoring the message that well-being is not an afterthought but a priority.

ICGC extended its gratitude to all participants, church leadership, partners, and the media for their role in making Life Walk 2025 a success.
The church encouraged everyone to carry the spirit of the event beyond the day, embracing movement, health, and kindness in their daily lives.
As the event concluded, participants looked ahead to Life Walk 2026, with a renewed commitment to walking in health, strength, and grace.
