The Ministry of information has started a nationwide media engagement on the report of the Constitutional Review Commission and government white paper on the report. A two-day media workshop is currently underway in Tamale for media practitioners in the three northern regions. The workshop will equip the media practitioners to be well informed about the white paper so they can better educate the public the public on the details. Speaking at the opening session, the Former Chair of the Commission, Prof. Emeritus Albert Fiadjoe noted there is the need to discuss the issues with honesty. Meanwhile, the Deputy Information Minister, Mr. James Agyenim Boateng says government will soon constitute a five-member committee to ensure the recommendations of the commission are implemented.
