One of the pioneers of internet development in Africa, Dr. Nii Narku Quaynor has been inducted into Internet Hall of Fame.
The awards ceremony was put together by the Internet Society - the body charged with maintaining internet standards in the world.
The event recognized individuals whose works have contributed to the advancement of internet in the world.
Dr. Qyaynor is the founder of Ghana.com, is an engineer and scientist by profession.
He will be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame in Geneva, Switzerland in July, 2013, together with 31 other individuals.
Dr. Quaynor now joins the ranks of elite personalities who have promoted internet reach in the world.
He told JOYBUSINESS this would challenge him to do more to improve internet connectivity in Ghana.
