Dwarfs coach J.E Sarpong has hit out at journalists who he claims continually misquote and misinterpret him.
The experienced trainer was in the news after his defeat to New Edubiase with several reports stating the coach had indicated he would resign should they lose to Hearts after blaming his players of sabotage.
But after their goalless draw with the Phobians, Sarpong has clarified his statement stating his players were just not committed on the day.
“People took me out of context. Not that there is crisis, they were not committed in Obuasi, he told Joy Sports
“If they want to use Mourinho style, I will advise myself because I never said I will quit the team.”
On those who reported the story, Sarpong revealed:
“I have been seeing this on Ghana web and if they are here (Cape Coast Stadium) don’t concoct your own stories and write.”
“I have been worried about this no wonder sometimes I don’t pick calls from journalists because whatever I tell you, you don’t write.”
Dwarfs have picked up a point out of a maximum nine in the league.
