Seventy three babies were delivered during the Jubilee Christmas holidays this year at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.A total of 47 babies were delivered in the normal way while 26 were through Caesarean section.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Thursday, Mustapha Salifu, Public Relations Officer of the hospital said the babies were delivered on Christmas eve, Christmas day and Boxing Day, adding that all the mothers and their babies were doing well.
The Accident Unit also recorded 24 accident cases on 24 and 25 December, while 13 cases were recorded on Boxing Day.
Two deaths were recorded through burns and drowning, Mr. Salifu said.Source: GNA
