Some bodies retrieved from the flood and fire disaster scene at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra are yet to be identified by their families a year after the incident.
This was made known by the Mayor of Accra, Alfred Oko Vanderpuije at a memorial service held at the Ernest Bruce Memorial Methodist Church in remembrance of the victims.
About 153 lives were lost when fire engulfed a flooded Goil Filling station at Circle on June 3, 2015.
The fire, which was said to have started at a market engulfed a flooded nearby Goil Filling station, shops, and houses, killing several people, some of whom had sought shelter at the station.
Some of the victims were said to have drowned in the floods and others died from severe burns from the raging fire.

The filling station has been converted into a memorial ground where wreaths have been laid after the church service in remembrance of the victims.
Mr Vanderpuije who was panned by many for the unfortunate incident stated in a report he read at the Methodist Church that some lessons have been learnt from the incident.

He indicated that some 108 families who were affected by the flood and fire disaster have been taken care of.
About survivors, Mr Vanderpuije said government footed the medical bills of all who were hospitalized, adding that those who were disfigured have also been taken care of.
According to him, about 45% of the Korle lagoon and the Odo river has been dredged.

Massive cleanup exercises, he said have been done around Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
Meanwhile, myjoyonline.com reporters have been doing some checks around the places that were affected by the floods and below are some pictures.
