The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSSAG) has rejected a Conditions of Service package recently approved and presented to them by government, saying it is unsatisfactory.

The Association threatened to withdraw its services if government failed to pay up its consolidated salaries, questioning why President John Mahama has since June 2015 not approved the release of funds needed to cover allowances for clothing, rent and some other needs of the staff.

It, however, confirmed receipt of its approved Conditions of Service from government. But, President of the Association Alex Nartey tells JOY NEWS the offer cannot be accepted.

"Since the Judiciary Council is the Constitutional body that determines our conditions of service, we have told them to go back to the president for the corrections to be made.

He said the Council has accepted to go and meet government and ensure that the gaps thereof have been resolved, however, when the response is not complete.

"So we are giving Council up to the end of the month to conclude work on the correction so they can take off from there," Mr Nartey said.
