Hearts of Oak head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi has urged the big clubs in Ghana to set the right standards for the development of soccer in the country.
The Japanese American made these comments in reaction to Hearts appeal against a three match empty stadium ban.
The Hearts trainer is disappointed his side play their next two home matches in an empty stadium but feels the act of violence should never happen again.
“What happened in our game against Wa All Stars should never happen again and as the coach that is my position,” he told Asempa Sports.
“We are a big club and a big club should set good examples for the smaller clubs and I am very worried going into this match.”
“I am hugely disappointed as well because of what happened and because of that we have to play in an empty stadium.”
“We are not happy about it because our supporters have played a very big role this season in achieving our success and without them, I don’t know what we can do because truly we are going to miss the presence of our supporters.” He added.
Hearts of Oak will be hoping to continue their impressive form against struggling Sekondi Hasaacas despite playing in an empty stadium.
