MP for Asokwa Maxwell Kofi Jumah could be summoned before parliament over allegations that he duped his business associates.The MP has been accused of illegally withdrawing monies from an account of a company he helped to establish.Joy News has learnt that the company, neTCom2 limited was setup by Mr. Kofi Jumah and five others to work on the digitization of the law reference of Ghana.But his associates accuse him of deceiving them. They allege the MP lied to them after he promised to provide funding for the project.One of them, Solomon Andoh who is also a director of the company says Mr. Jumah has also been withdrawing monies he is not entitled to.He tells Joy News they will petition parliament over the matter.But the MP has told Joy News he will not want to go public on the matter.He described the allegations as a ploy by his detractors to destroy his reputation and challenged them to report the matter to the police.Source: Joy News/Ghana
