Agona Swedru is set to come alive on New Year's Day, January 1, with a massive pool party dubbed the All Star New Year Pool Party. The event which is the brain child of Babilee Management, management of music duo Konfi, and Klassik Media Limited, will come off at the poolside of the Greenland Hotel in Swedru. The star-studded pool jam will be headlined by Konfi, made up of Jagoo and Pj who also hail from Swedru. Other acts billed to perform at the all-day party include Reggie Zippy, Chemphe, Dr Cryme, Stay Jay, Buky Core, TH4Kwages. Yaw Agbey Lawson of Babilee Management told Myjoyonline.com that the event is aimed at giving revelers a good starter to the year 2011 and also take the party away from the capital closer to their fans. He said Konfi who themselves hail from Swedru will use the party to touch base with their cherished fans who have supported them since their entry into the industry.
