Porcupine Warriors Kumasi Asante Kotoko got back to winning ways pipping bogey side Kpando Heart of Lions 2-1 in their outstanding premier league fixture played at the Kpando Park.
Francis Coffie shot Kotoko ahead in the first half, but Kofi Nti Boakye leveled up for the homesters.
Alex Asamoah however restored Kotoko's lead with a late goal that eventually won the day for the defending league champions.
The win proved priceless after strings of poor results for Kotoko, with the latest being a painful 1-0 defeat to Kessben.
In yet another outstanding fixture, Sekondi eleven Wise beat Tema Youth by a lone goal.
