Former Asante Kotoko attacker, Edward Affum has tipped his former outfit to win the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League title.
After winning the league on a three consecutive times under Maxwell Konadu and Didi Dramani, the Porcupine Warriors have failed to clinch the in the past two seasons.
The Reds missed out on the trophy to AshantiGold in the 2014/15 season before losing out to WA All Stars last season.
The attacker who won one League title with the Porcupine Warriors is tipping the Reds to win the title next season.
“Thing are not going to well for Kotoko, they haven’t been able to win the title in the last two season."
“I believe they can win it next season. They have good players and are playing good football too, I have watched them in the G6 and I think they are capable of winning it.”
Kotoko lost in the semifinal of the G6 to rivals Hearts of Oak.
