Former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Emmanuel Osei Kuffour has indicated that, the “ The club’s successful 2000 squad popularly known as the 64 battalion” are still ruing the club’s failure to pay 20,000 dollars each promised them after winning the 2000 CAF Champions league and the Super Cup.
According to Kuffour who led Hearts of Oak to five league titles in a row and the CAF Champions league in 2000, the team did not receive the money promised them prior to winning the championship.
“I throw the challenge to Hearts to come out and confirm if they gave us any money. He told JOY Sports.
He added that, the monies received in bit did not amount to the 20,000 dollars promised the team.
