A massive procession has been held on the streets of Kumasi by Mr. Herbert Mensah, former Chairman of Asante Kotoko and current President of the Ghana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) and associates to mark the 15th Anniversary of the May 9th disaster which killed over 120 soccer fans in Accra.

“I will not be doing my duty if I don’t mention the name of Mr. Hayssam Fakhry, Managing Director of Interplast and Inesfly Africa, for his enormous support since 2001. Without his dedication year after year these very important May 9th Remembered programmes would not have been possible,” he said.
