The death is reported of Mrs. Margaret Agyapong, mother of Kwabena Agyapong, a former press secretary to ex-president Kufuor.
She died on Friday, 27 September 2013 in London, a statement issued by Davis Opoku Ansah, Special Assistant to Mr Agyapong has said.
“I have deep regret and sorrow to announce the death of Mrs. Margaret Agyapong, the mother of Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, former Presidential Press Secretary and Spokesperson during the administration of President Kufuor.”
The sad event, the statement said, occurred after a short illness.
Mrs. Margaret Agyapong was the wife of the late Justice Kwadwo Agyei Agyapong.
“This is a great loss for the family. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course,” the statement concluded.
