Hi-Life sensation Kwaisey Pee in a bid to give back to his fans for their support over the years will be staging a rear concert during this Easter in Kwahu.
The concert, dubbed Kwaisey Pee and Friends powered by Goldstar Consult, will see the artiste teaming up two other greats to thrill their fans to a one in a life time concert set to get Kwahu and it's environs talking for generations.
Kwaisey Pee disclosed this in an interview with Myjoyonline.com stating after several years of support and love from his fans, it is only befitting enough to give back to them.
"It is something I haven't done since I became a solo artiste and I think it is just nice, it is sweet because this is the way I could express what I have in me - the talent - because people have been complaining for the past years that they don't see me performing, they don't see me doing anything like that ...
"so I am trying to do something for at least my fans to know that when they buy my CDs they are not wasting their money and time because they will get to see me perform as well," he said.
The show, which will not be Kwaisey Pee's first in Kwahu, will also be used to promote his latest album, Konadu.
Kwaisey Pee and Friends, backed by the Shabo Crew, comes off at the Ohene Nana Classics at Mpraeso on Saturday, April 7 and it will see legendary Nana Tuffour and K.K. Fosu joining him to rock the house.
He urged fans to expect a lot on the night because he is going to give it his all adding that "this is the time I want to prove to my fans and people out there that it is not just recording and singing but I can do a live show as well. I am going to be on stage for two hours" Kwaisey Pee promised.
The smooth artiste holds a long history and experience in music. Son of the legendary Agyaaku of Serwa Koto fame, he started doing music at the age of 17.
He has five albums to his credit with the latest being the 10-track Konadu which has the popular track, Shye Ahenie.
That track has given Kwaisey Pee two nominations, Hi-Life Artiste of the Year and Best Male Vocal Artiste, at this year's Ghana Music Awards and he is hopeful to bag all two awards.
