Lady Gaga is as likely to wear a turkey on her head as she is to eat one at Thanksgiving dinner.
But the singer may surprise fans in a whole new way on Thanksgiving night, when she sits down with ABC's Katie Couric for a holiday special, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving."
The special promises an intimate look inside the private life of the pop sensation, who will perform eight songs -- including "Marry the Night," "YoĂĽ and I," "The Edge of Glory," "White Christmas" and "Lady and the Tramp" with Tony Bennett -- in front of her own friends and family.
"We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers," says Couric, who promises, "She will impress you, delight you and surprise you."
The 90-minute special (November 24, 8 p.m. ET) will also feature an interview with Couric, who will sit down at Gaga's alma mater, Sacred Heart Catholic School in Manhattan. The women will discuss her music, her relationships and her life in the spotlight.
And just when you though Gaga couldn't get any more outrageous, she's going to make a down-home meal of deep-fried turkey and waffles -- with the help of chef Art Smith.
