Following revelations at the ongoing UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Ghana is seen to be among a few countries that are fast depleting in its forest cover.
The Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Samuel Abu Jinapor, says a detailed step-by-step plan has been developed to reverse it.
President Akufo-Addo last week expressed shock at this news and instructed the sector minister to fix the situation.
In a meeting with staff of the Forestry Commission's London office, Samuel Abu Jinapor announced they have since come up with a strategy they will put before the cabinet in their next meeting on restoring Ghana's lost forest cover.
