The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, on Monday, 3rd February 2025 emphasized the importance of collaboration and mutual support in achieving the ministry's goals during an interaction with staff of the ministry.
"You will be my key advisors as I navigate this Ministry," the Minister stated, acknowledging the directors' expertise and experience.

The Minister outlined the Ministry's key objectives, including the restoration of forest reserves and addressing the issue of galamsey. "We must create a path that will not destroy our water bodies," the Minister stressed, highlighting the need for sustainable solutions.
The Minister also emphasized the importance of creating a positive work environment, stating, "I intend to create an atmosphere that will make everyone excited whenever they want to come to work."
Additionally, the Minister assured the directors of his utmost support, regardless of political affiliation.

The Chief Director, Prof Patrick Agbesinyale welcomed the Minister, assuring him of the Ministry's staff loyalty and dedication for the attainment of the Organizational’s goals. “This Ministry means business and we will work with you to succeed”, Prof Agbesinyale stated.
The Minister concluded by reiterating his commitment to transparency and accountability, stating, "I am not going to compromise in my position to condone illegality, especially illegal logging and mining."
Meanwhile, the Minister in his interaction with Staff of the Ministry implored them to eschew partisan politics and deliver on their duties to the country.

Addressing the staff, Hon. Emmanuel Armah Kofi-Buah, who doubles as the MP for Ellembele encouraged the staff to serve as effective agents for the implementation of President John Dramani Mahama’s vision for the Lands and Natural Resources sector.
The Minister promised to operate an open-door policy with the welfare of staff at the heart of his leadership.
He assured that he will take personal interest in their professional progress and ensure that conducive atmosphere prevails at the ministry.
He, however, cautioned the staff against any act that could serve an affront to the objectives of the government for Ghana’s lands, and forestry and minerals sub-sector.
