The Founder and President of the Lordina Foundation, Mrs Lordina Dramani Mahama, on Friday welcomed two distinguished guests - Mrs Kartumu Yatta Boakai, First Lady of Liberia, and Tobeka Madiba-Zuma, former First Lady of South Africa—at the 5th edition of the Foundation’s quarterly health screening and free medical supplies programme for retired ministers and their spouses of the Assemblies of God.

Held in Accra, the event forms part of the Foundation’s continuous commitment to promoting the well-being of retired clergy through regular medical screening, fellowship, and essential health support across the Greater Accra East and West Regions.

Mrs Mahama expressed heartfelt appreciation to the visiting First Ladies, describing them as “inspiring sisters” whose presence reflects deep solidarity and sisterhood.

“I am deeply grateful to my two inspiring sisters for their unwavering support and encouragement. Together, we are making a meaningful impact. Thank you, Your Excellencies, for gracing us with your presence. May God bless you abundantly,” she said.
She reaffirmed the Foundation’s guiding philosophy that “the more we share, the more we have,” noting that the quarterly screening exercise continues to touch countless lives.

Chairman’s Reflections Highlight Purpose of the Event
Ahead of the gathering, the Chairman of the Lordina Foundation, Pastor Boateng Sarpong, shared internal reflections that underscored the significance of the 5th and final screening session for the year.

In his message, he expressed deep gratitude to the retired ministers and their spouses for their faithful participation throughout all previous editions. He emphasised that each programme has been a moment of encouragement, fellowship, and mutual appreciation—values at the heart of the Foundation’s work.

Pastor Sarpong also paid glowing tribute to the medical team, applauding their professionalism, compassion, and unwavering dedication. According to him, their commitment has ensured the smooth execution and success of each quarterly outreach since the programme began.

He further issued a formal welcome note for the event, outlining its spiritual and humanitarian purpose: to provide health support, strengthen bonds within the retired clergy community, and reinforce the Foundation’s mission under the leadership of Mrs Mahama.

His closing remarks called for continued prayers for Mrs Mahama, her husband, John Dramani Mahama, and their family. He also expressed gratitude for “the grace that has carried the Foundation” through yet another successful year of service, culminating in the 5th screening for 2025.

The Chairman’s reflections, shared through internal screenshots, highlighted a deep sense of appreciation—for the medical professionals, the retired clergy, and the Foundation’s leadership—whose collective efforts sustain the initiative.
Foundation Pledges to Expand Health Support
The Lordina Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to broadening its health support interventions in the coming year, promising to reach even more beneficiaries and strengthen its legacy of compassion and service.
