Lifeahead Vision Ministries, Tema is set to commemorate its third anniversary with a weekend-long celebration filled with joy, gratitude, and community engagement.
The event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, promises a vibrant lineup of activities, including a food bazaar, live band performances, donations to orphanages, a health walk, traditional Borborbor dance, and a grand thanksgiving service.
Founded by Rev. Dr. David Kofi Wuaku, Lifeahead Vision Ministries has grown into a strong faith-based community dedicated to spiritual growth, charitable outreach, and social impact. As the church marks this significant milestone, the leadership and congregation are reflecting on their journey of faith and transformation.

The festivities will kick off on Saturday, March 1, with a series of activities aimed at fostering fellowship and giving back to the community.
The church premises will be a hub of activity as members and guests enjoy a variety of local and continental dishes at the food bazaar. A live band will provide an uplifting musical atmosphere, blending contemporary gospel tunes with traditional rhythms.
In line with its commitment to philanthropy, Lifeahead Vision Ministries will make significant donations to orphanages, supporting vulnerable children with essential supplies, food items, and financial assistance. This initiative underscores the church’s mission to extend Christ’s love beyond its walls.
Congregants and community members will embark on a health walk, promoting physical well-being while also symbolising their collective spiritual journey. The walk will encourage fitness and serve as an opportunity for evangelism along the designated routes.
A cultural highlight of the day will be a Borborbor dance session, a traditional Ewe dance synonymous with celebration and communal joy. The rhythmic drumming and energetic dance moves will showcase the rich heritage of the region, blending faith and culture in a spirited expression of gratitude.
The night will conclude with a special anniversary dinner, bringing members together for a time of reflection, appreciation, and fellowship. This formal event will honour the contributions of individuals who have played a vital role in the church’s growth.

On Sunday, March 3, Lifeahead Vision Ministries will host a thanksgiving service at 2 pm, bringing the anniversary celebration to a spiritual crescendo. The congregation will attend in a uniformed attire sponsored by the church’s founder, Rev. Dr. David Kofi Wuaku and his family, symbolising unity and gratitude.
During the service, Rev. Dr. Wuaku will lead the congregation in prayers of thanksgiving, reflecting on God’s faithfulness over the past three years. He will also commend the dedication of church members, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith and committed to the ministry’s vision.
The leadership of Lifeahead Vision Ministries is extending an open invitation to the public to join in this joyous occasion. The anniversary celebration is not just for the church but for the wider community to witness and partake in the goodness of the Lord.
In his message ahead of the event, Rev. Dr. David Kofi Wuaku expressed deep gratitude to the congregation for their unwavering commitment to the church’s mission. He emphasised the importance of prayer, faithfulness, and unity, urging members to continue striving for spiritual growth and impactful service.
