Heart of Lions top scorer last season ,Isaac Osae looks set to be handed a contract by Dutch Eredivise side League Heereveen after impressing in Monday’s friendly against FC Groningen as most of the Dutch press have predicted.
The 20-year-old led the attack and played the entire duration of the match.
Osae will have to replicate that performance against lower-division sideIJsselmeervogels on Saturday in a practice match to confirm his stay at the club.
He is on a two-week trial alongside Chinese central defender Xiao Yu Feng and both gave a good account of themselves.
“They both met our expectations,” Heereveen’s technical director Hans Vonk told the club’s official website.
“They both have play again for us to get a better impression of their capabilities.”
Osae played a key role in Heart of Lions second place finish in last season’s Ghana Premier League.
