Ghana Sprinter Vida Anim has indicated that, she is close to regaining full fitness for the women 200 meter race on August6 .
Vida Anim has been struggling with various injuries for weeks now and was unable to compete favourably in the team’s last major championship in Benin before the trip to London for the Olympics.
The 28 year old in an interview with JOY Sports stated that, she is confident of doing well at the Games.
“I’m expecting something better from this Olympics because I’m ready for it”. Said Vida Anim
“I have prepared so well for the games and I’m glad at my recovery rate and I will be fit when the track and field event begins”
Vida took part in Team Ghana’s first training session at the Brickfield Track and Field facility in Plymouth at the weekend.
