Lycée Français International Jacques Prévert d’Accra (LFIA) hosted this year's edition of the ZAC Games 2025, a major sporting event that brought together junior high school teams from five AEFE countries in the Central African Zone - Togo, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, and Equatorial Guinea—alongside Ghana, from March 17 to March 21, 2025.
The annual ZAC Games serve as a platform for students from various French international schools in Africa to showcase their sports skills while fostering cultural exchange and camaraderie. This year’s edition featured an impressive line-up of games across multiple venues:
- LFIA Sports Field – Handball, table tennis, volleyball, sitting volleyball, basketball, and “Jeux de la Lucarne”
- University of Ghana Stadium – Field and track events
- S2 Sports Complex – Padel and Foot5

A celebration of sports and community
The ZAC Games 2025 embodied the spirit of sportsmanship and determination, with student-athletes displaying remarkable skill, endurance, and resilience throughout the competition. LFIA’s commitment to holistic education was on full display as students balanced their competitive drive with respect for their peers, embracing the values of fair play and teamwork.
The games also saw strong participation from parents, teachers, and supporters, who gathered to cheer on the athletes, adding to the festive and inclusive atmosphere of the event.
