After becoming the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria will be hoping to confirm top spot in Group B when they take on Madagascar in their final group game on Sunday.
Madagascar in their first appearance at the tournament are seeking to make history by going past the group stages and can achieve that if they avoid defeat.

With two wins and two clean sheets, the Super Eagles are yet to taste defeat in the competition.
The Barea of Madagascar won against Burundi and drew against Guinea.

Nigeria have no injury or suspension concerns ahead of this game and players like Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi are expected to feature.
Speaking ahead of the match, Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr said his players are aiming for the top spot in the group.
“Madagascar is a strong team and they have a great manager. They will be greatly prepared but we have enough experience to overcome this match. It’s important to finish this group in the first place”
Madagascar also have every player available for the match.
Their coach Nicholas Dupuis is positive of a good result ahead of the match.
“I’m proud of the players’ performance, everyone gave their best in the last two matches. I trust every player and I know they’re up to the responsibility even in front of a strong team like Nigeria”
