The underlying intention is that this integrity will lead to transformed nations that are founded on truth and characterized by love and justice.

The objectives for the Conference among others is to "increase the credibility and profile of the Bible in all aspects of the African society and to empower African leaders by discussing the Bible’s emphasis on integrity, compassion and justice in leadership with the belief that this will lead to positively transformed nations."
The statement said the leaders would discuss broad range of issues including corruption, indiscipline, lawlessness, bribery, servant-leadership etc.
"While ABLI 2014 is being hosted by the Bible Society of Ghana, it is a United Bible Societies supported project.
