President John Mahama, once again, switched things up in style on Friday, January 30, stepping away from his usual corporate look to wear a full military ceremonial uniform at the Ghana Military Academy graduation.
The Commander-in-Chief arrived at the ceremony dressed in the ceremonial uniform of the Ghana Air Force, complete with the proper accoutrements, commanding attention as graduating officer cadets marched on parade.

Explaining his choice, President Mahama said the outfit was a deliberate tribute to the men and women of the Ghana Air Force, whose dedication and quiet professionalism continue to safeguard the country’s skies and territorial integrity.

The appearance also signals a growing tradition. Just last year, President Mahama made a similar statement at a military graduation when he appeared in a crisp white ceremonial uniform of the Ghana Navy, again fully adorned to reflect the service’s heritage and discipline.
