President John Mahama has met Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of the United Arab Emirate in Dubai.
The discussions centred on government's efforts at modernising especially the capital city.
President Mahama recognised Dubai's growth and development over the last few years, noting that Ghana and especially Accra can go the way of the Arab city.
Ghana, he said, will draw lessons from Dubai's development model and benefit from its human expertise and energies.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid who is also Vice President and Ruler of Dubai stressed the need to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange of expertise in areas such as tourism, oil and infrastructure development.
President left Accra on December 23, for the UAE for Christmas vacation with his family. He is expected back home this week.
