Ex-France captain Marcel Desailly has secured his Uefa Pro Licence coach, paving the way for him to begin his coaching career.
The 44-year-old has now acquired the necessary qualification and could consider entering the fray of coaching.
Dessaily was heavily linked with the Black Stars job before Kwesi Appiah landed the job.
The former Marseille star own the muti purpose Lizzy Sports complex which now serves as camping base for most local and international teams.
He never got the chance to represent the West African country but captained France to win the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the European championship in 2000.
