Market Express an online grocery supermarket is celebrating its one year anniversary with a sale and expanded fresh produce category.
Market Express enables time-strapped customers living in a traffic-congested city to have more time with their spend with their families and loved ones instead of pushing their way through a crowded supermarket after a long day at work.
Chief Executive Officer, Ebenezer Lartey said, “it has been an exciting year for us, and we’ve seen our customer numbers grow exponentially.”
"Introducing same-day and next-day delivery and expanding from the city center to all of Accra and Tema really enabled us to retain customers,” he added.
He envisions the company offering superior services and prices to entice customers and are hopeful of extending its tentacles to other cities in Ghana and West Africa.
“We want our customers to feel safe eating fresh vegetables and fruits from Market Express, therefore we select our fresh produce from the best farms,” he said.
Market Express looks forward to launching a mobile app to increase shopping convenience for customers and expand services to allow Ghanaians abroad to order their favorite products from Ghana and have them shipped to them overseas.
“Every day we are a step closer to changing the way people do grocery shopping and giving more people the opportunity to access the best local and global brands in a few clicks.
"More importantly, we are helping our customers to save more time with the power of technology,” he said.
