President Nana Akufo-Addo has shown his affection for Ghanaian women by honouring them on Mother's Day.
On Sunday, President took to his Facebook page to wish Ghanaian women well on the special occasion.
"Happy Mothers Day... May God bless you all," he said.
He also used the same medium to praise the ladies and women in his life.
"Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful Rebecca, to my daughters, and, indeed, to all Ghanaian women," he noted.
Meanwhile, mothers in all parts of the world are being celebrated today; and as usual, social media has habitually been filled with heartwarming posts about the occasion.
It is a day that gives people the opportunity to celebrate their mothers and share stories about their mothers with the world.
While expressing the pivotal roles mothers play in the upbringing of children, many Twitter users have shared their wishes for their mothers and how much they love them.
Its never been a smooth journey for you as mothers but through it all, you see us through and support us in our endeavors. Today I celebrate all our mothers especially our teachers. Happy Mothers Day. Keep it up for Ghana pic.twitter.com/bhYQLhFRaE
